  • We do not directly invest in or provide direct insurance for the construction of new thermal coal power plants.
  • In support of the Singapore Green Plan 2030, we are dedicated to underwrite policies for electric vehicles.
  • We strongly encourage employees to go green through various office initiatives.
  • We have initiated digital solutions for policies and documents to reduce the need for hard copy documents.

Our Corporate Policies

Whistleblowing Policy

Sompo is committed to act with integrity and maintain high ethical standards in all aspects of our business in accordance with Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Group’s action guidelines.

We have a whistleblowing policy in place to encourage the disclosure of any wrongdoing that may adversely impact our company, customers, shareholders, employees, investors or the public at large. We will conduct a thorough investigations of any allegation received and take appropriate action when necessary.

This policy protects the whistleblower from adverse actions taken by Sompo that affects the whistleblower’s rights or interests. The whistleblower’s identity will not be disclosed unless judicial or other legal processes require such disclosure.

Whilst disclosure is encouraged at all times, concerns must be raised without malice and in good faith and based on the information that the whistleblower reasonably believes substantially true.
